Today was a truly heartwarming day for our mule team as they successfully delivered essential supplies to the residents of Black Mountain. The mules and packers completed their tasks seamlessly, and now they rest for the night, preparing for another busy day ahead. Tomorrow, their journey takes them towards Swannanoa, a critical area where a large portion of the town’s residents are in need. We pray for their safety and strength as they embark on this important mission. Meanwhile, back at home, our community rallied together, generously donating supplies that overflowed into a 24′ stock trailer graciously provided by Tractor Supply. The outpouring of support at the Food Lion in Cleveland, NC was nothing short of moving, as individuals came together, laden with donations for those affected by the devastation in the mountains. Despite the sadness we feel, witnessing the unity and kindness of so many restores our faith, reminding us of the goodness in people. Let’s continue to lift each other up and offer our sincerest thanks to all those who have shown unwavering compassion during this challenging time.
