Feel The Holiday Spirit On The Ice In Fort Smith & Van Buren

Downtown Fort Smith Tradition Returns This November

The Community Rescue Mission (CRM) and First National Bank of Fort Smith have partnered together to bring back a beloved holiday tradition to downtown Fort Smith. This November, a synthetic ice-skating rink will be set up on the Riverfront Pavilion lawn, located at 100 North B St. From November 26th through January 2nd, local residents of all ages can come out and have some festive fun while helping to support a great cause.

Admission and Hours of Operation

Admission to the rink will cost $12 for adults and $8 for children under 11. This fee includes the use of ice skates. The rink will be open on the following days:

  • Friday: 5-9 p.m.
  • Saturday: 10 a.m.-9 p.m.
  • Sunday: 1-5 p.m.
  • Dec. 21 through Dec. 30: Tuesday-Thursday 2-7 p.m., Friday 2 p.m.

The rink will be closed on Christmas and New Year’s Day. Hours of operation are subject to change.

The Purpose of the Rink

The rink is a holiday fundraising campaign for the Community Rescue Mission. All proceeds will help support their mission of servicing families in crisis throughout the River Valley. The rink will also help bring more people downtown to enhance economic opportunities for local businesses.

“First National Bank is grateful to support the community rescue mission in its endeavor to bring holiday cheer to our community while raising funds to help local families needing shelter and our support,” said First National Bank of Fort Smith President and CEO, Sam Sicard.

So, come out and join the festive fun and help support a great cause. We look forward to seeing you at the rink! www.fscrm.org.
