Oklahoma Town Takes Pride In Cleanup Efforts
Panama, Oklahoma is a small rural town in southeastern Oklahoma. The citizens of this tight-knit community take great pride in keeping their town clean. Recently, the police chief, Eddie Seaton, created a volunteer crew of citizens whose sole purpose is to pick up the trash that people have thrown out throughout the town.
Cleanup Crew
The cleanup crew meets at one end of town and works its way to the other end, collecting all of the litter that has been discarded along the way. Seaton encourages residents to join the cleanup crew to help make the town a cleaner place. He also reminds everyone that if he catches someone littering, he will issue a ticket.

The town’s participation in the clean-up effort has been remarkable. Everyone from school-aged children to senior citizens take part in the clean-up efforts. Seaton loves to see the entire community come together to help make the town a better place.

I seen them out there working even some cop was cleaning up all this trash that people throw out. Came back thou there later and it looked great. I don’t think I could do it. GREAT Job folks!
