Oklahoma Town Takes Pride In Cleanup Efforts

Panama, Oklahoma is a small rural town in southeastern Oklahoma. The citizens of this tight-knit community take great pride in keeping their town clean. Recently, the police chief, Eddie Seaton, created a volunteer crew of citizens whose sole purpose is to pick up the trash that people have thrown out throughout the town.

Cleanup Crew

The cleanup crew meets at one end of town and works its way to the other end, collecting all of the litter that has been discarded along the way. Seaton encourages residents to join the cleanup crew to help make the town a cleaner place. He also reminds everyone that if he catches someone littering, he will issue a ticket.

The town’s participation in the clean-up effort has been remarkable. Everyone from school-aged children to senior citizens take part in the clean-up efforts. Seaton loves to see the entire community come together to help make the town a better place.

The benefits of keeping Panama clean are numerous. Not only does it look more beautiful, but it also helps to ensure the health and safety of the community. Additionally, it is a great learning experience for the younger generation, teaching them the importance of keeping their environment clean.

The citizens of Panama, Oklahoma are proud of their town and the effort they are putting forth in keeping it clean. With their commitment and dedication, they are sure to keep it that way for years to come.
